This is a development history from master, not a list of published releases. Updates synced from master describe merged changes; work synced from other branches may still be awaiting a merge. The Builder's displayed version is 1.0.0; executable export and C# script execution remain pending.
2026-10-11 — A smoother start, stronger editing tools, and consistent Preview styling
- Builder opens directly on a full-window start screen, with New/Open actions, recent projects, and Login, Settings, and Dashboard templates. The designer no longer flashes before startup completes.
- Canvas editing includes multi-selection, group movement, align/distribute commands, copy/cut/paste/duplicate, keyboard resizing, zoom shortcuts, Fit, and clickable parent breadcrumbs.
- The command palette finds commands, toolbox controls, existing controls, and forms. Grid and tab-order overlays, Explorer locks, form-size presets, and keyboard navigation make larger designs easier to manage.
- Property editing supports multiple selected controls, reset actions, changed-value indicators, color swatches, chosen border edges, and notices when component CSS overrides inspector values.
- Double-clicking a placed control opens its default event handler. New CSS templates leave inspector appearance active rather than copying every default into overriding declarations.
- Preview can open other project forms with forma.showForm and return results with forma.closeForm. Serializable forma.shared values synchronize across the windows in one Preview run.
- Designer and Preview use shared control styles. Input placeholders, groups, border defaults, and padded-container positioning have been improved.
- Autosave recovery, visible problem counts, and unsaved-file indicators help protect work. FORMA_DATA_DIR can move the Builder's recent-project and recovery data to another folder.
- ControlCatalog centralizes Builder control definitions. Core controls describe their own render state and handle typed runtime events; editing and window responsibilities are split into focused files.
- The documentation now lives in a separate private source repository and deploys to the existing public site. The latest merged update passed 204 C# tests, 222 JavaScript tests, and the full Builder build.
